Trocadero Arena is a seaside restaurant, located in the Río Real beach area, that retains the essence of a chiringuito. Exquisitely decorated by Lorenzo Queipo de Llano, it has been highlighted in numerous specialist publications on fashion, beauty and gastronomy, as well as being featured on TV programmes. It is unquestionably a magical venue full of charm, open every day of the year for lunch and dinner. Like Trocadero Playa, its culinary options are based on ingredients with a prominent Mediterranean touch, but in this case also enhanced by significant Asian influences. In addition to typical rice dishes, fish and meat, the menu includes specialist Japanese cuisine that is ideal for savoring by the sea. Since client was born as source of inspiration, there is a need to adapt to their tastes and eccentricities. Illustrious characters inspired great bars and consequently there are many beverages we enjoy today. Our cocktails are intended to stimulate the senses by developing an accessible and fun cocktail culture. Restaurant open from 11:00 to 01:00. Kitchen is open from 13:00 to 01:00
The word “Takumi” embodies the essence of the Ta-Kumi Gastro-Bar: it translates to “artisan” or “master”, and signifies the union between the cuisines of our two prestigious chefs, Toshio and Álvaro (TA), who work as a harmonious team (Kumi). Whitefish Sashimi, Bass or Sea Bream Teppanyaki, Avocado Futomaki, varied Tempura… The restaurant founders maintain elegant food presentation, paired with spiced and delicious sauces. Toshio Tsutsui and Álvaro Arbeloa are considered some of today’s best chefs, and together they create Ta-Kumi, a cultural centre of fusion cuisine. With their long and international culinary history, they delight diners with an atmosphere of distinction and originality.
Lobito de Mar is an urban chiringuito, a cool beachless beach bar and restaurant. An old school restaurant, with deep roots in Andalusian tradition and a permanent search for the best ingredients. A place where an expert on rice dishes (paellas) and a barbecued fish specialist (espetero) are key figures. Two different areas with two different menus: one more informal tapas bar for all tastes and pockets and another more formal one based on seafood, crustaceans and national mollusks, Andalusian fried fish, traditional espetos, tuna recipes and a wide variety of rice paellas in the Alicante style. Mediterranean in its purest state!

Registered Population of Marbella increases over 150,000
Latest census shows that officially registered population in Marbella has exceeded the number of 150,000 and the city is already the seventh most populated in Andalusia, ahead of three provincial capitals: Huelva, Cádiz and Jaén. The municipal register has reached 152,000 residents, having achieved a growth rate of more than seven percent in the last two years. This growth will be translated in access to more economic funds for the city, both for the Participation in State Revenue (PIE) and in the taxes of the Autonomous Community. Although it is estimated that the real population of Marbella during most of the year oscillates around 200,000 people, according to parameters such as water consumption, bank accounts or the generation of waste, in 2018 the municipal register listed 142,000 inhabitants. Since then, there has been a growth close to 10,000 residents. Among the reasons behind this growth is an active registration campaign promoted by the City Council. Another reason is the proximity of the ‘Brexit’ deadline. With the UK leaving the EU, British citizens are in need of regularizing their situation in Spain and the first step to do so is to register in their municipality of residence. The ‘Brexit’, as explained by the […]
